BILL REEVES is a partner with diverse litigation experience which evolved over his 33 years of practice. Starting with his trial development as an Assistant District Attorney, Bill honed his skills in the courtroom at Markow, Walker & Reeves for 19 years, growing the firm from three attorneys to 26 when he departed in 2003. Over the years he developed a diverse practice, but now is primarily involved in complex litigation and mass tort litigation involving asbestos, silica, along with pharmaceuticals and drug devices, in both Mississippi and Alabama.

Representative Experience

• • Served as Counsel in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee for approximately 15 corporate Defendants in the asbestos personal injury litigation involving over 40,000 individual claims, with over 2,000 claims still pending in Mississippi and Alabama.
  • Represented a corporate Defendant in the Mississippi diet drug (fen-phen) litigation before cases were transferred to the MDL.
  • Represented Defendants in claims against the manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment and products in various product liability and wrongful death actions in Mississippi.
  • Represented physicians, hospitals, home health care agencies and other health care providers in medical negligence and malpractice actions in various Mississippi courts.
  • Represented several Defendants in the the silica personal injury litigation in Mississippi involving thousands of Plaintiffs.
