What types of clients do you represent?

My clients range from regulated public utilities, state agencies, and large corporations to small businesses and individuals.
What do you see on the horizon in your area of practice?

Litigation is becoming more economically-driven from a client standpoint, which demands a cost-benefit analysis in every aspect of trial and appellate strategy. This enables law firms and attorneys with a cost-sensitive approach to avoid unnecessary risk and expense in an effort to achieve the highest return on the client's litigation investment.
Which courts or agencies do you most often appear before on behalf of your clients?

My practice allows me to appear before a wide range of tribunals, including state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative tribunals, and state tax commissions.
What do you find most exciting about your work?

The ability to satisfy high client expectations -- Our clients deserve and expect exceptional legal representation in very complex matters. Representing each unique client to achieve the desired result is always very rewarding.

Corporate Litigation: Part of a litigation team which serves as general litigation counsel for a regional publicly-regulated utility.
State Agency Representation: Serves as outside counsel to several large state agencies in a wide variety of matters, ranging from litigation, public contract procurement, general legal advice and public records requests.
Tax Controversy: Represents both corporations and individuals in challenging state and local tax assessments from the administrative to the judicial level.
Creditor's Rights Litigation: Represents a major debt buyer in the defense of federal claims throughout the Southeast brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and various state laws.
Non-Profit: Serves as general counsel to non-profit organization which counsels and mentors at-risk and fatherless youths in a major metropolitan area with the goal of enabling them to attend college.
