W. Clark Watson is a member of the Business Section of the firm. He advises business clients in all stages of their development, from start-up enterprises to those with established operations. He is experienced with the formation of business entities and corporate acquisitions and sales, as well as a variety of matters requiring general corporate and business law advice. Mr. Watson has worked with clients in a number of business sectors including manufacturing, retail, financial products and services, wholesalers, professionals, contractors, non-profit corporations and real estate development.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Watson was a law clerk to the Honorable James H. Hancock, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama. In addition to his professional commitments, Mr. Watson serves as a Trustee of Samford University where he served as Chairman of the Board from 2007 to 2011.
