DOLPH WINDERS is a Partner in the firm's Atlanta office where his practice is devoted primarily to (i) mergers, acquisitions, finance, general corporate, contracts, real estate and other transactional work, (ii) legal work for the waste industry, including landfill and transfer station development and permitting, zoning and other local approvals for waste and recycling facilities, composting facilities, landfill gas to energy projects, municipal contracts, environmental issues relating to the industry, litigation and business transactions in the industry, (iii) alternative energy and other "green" projects, (iv) automobile and truck dealership transactions and general legal work for the industry and (v) representation of franchisor businesses.   Mr. Winders was also voted to the Best Lawyers in America list in 2007.

Prior Employment

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Winders was the Regional General Counsel for Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. which is now known as Allied Waste Industries, Inc., the second largest waste company in the United States and a Fortune 500 Company, where he worked on a wide variety of legal issues facing corporations in the industry as well as publicly traded companies in general.
