GREG BUTRUS is a Partner in the firm's Energy section.  His practice includes advising clients in the following areas:

  • Proceedings and matters involving the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Regional Entities, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and the Alabama Public Service Commission (APSC).

  • Political law compliance and regulation
  • Telecommunications policy and E-911 issues
  • Economic development policy and issues

Prior to joining Balch & Bingham LLP, Mr. Butrus served on the staff of U.S. Senator Howell Heflin from 1993 to 1995 in Washington, D.C.
