Greg Michell is a Partner in the firm’s Atlanta office and a member of the firm’s litigation section. His practice is focused on representing individuals and businesses in disputes arising out of commercial transactions, the financial services industry, employment relationships, civil rights violations, and state and local government actions.
Greg leads the firm’s financial litigation services group, and has represented banks, finance companies, credit card processors, insurance companies and others involved in banking and consumer finance disputes, including credit card matters, U.C.C. Article 3 & 4 matters, and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act claims. Greg is also a member of the firm's credit crisis group, a special team of lawyers working on challenges created by the current disruptions in the credit and other capital markets, and special matters group.
Greg has litigated cases at the trial and appellate level in both state and federal courts. He was selected as a 2005 Georgia Super Lawyer "Rising Star" by Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine.
