Resident in the Montgomery office, Mr. McCorkle is a member of the firm’s business litigation and Creditors Rights and Bankruptcy practice groups.  He has also served as a mediator in personal injury, construction, and commercial cases. In recent years, Mr. McCorkle has been employed by clients seeking relief from large punitive damages verdicts in post-judgment Hammond/Green Oil hearings and before the Alabama Supreme Court.

Mr. McCorkle is married to the former Talmadge ("Tammy") Williams, and they have three sons - Thomson, a junior at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon; Andrew, a senior in high school; and Walter, a sophomore in high school. Mr. McCorkle enjoys playing golf, fishing, reading, listening to music and watching all kinds of sports.

    • Mayhann v. General Parts, Inc., in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Panama City Division. Represented national automobile parts distributor in case alleging fraud and antitrust violations against distributor of automobile parts. Defendant's verdict on all counts except antitrust claim.
    • State of Alabama v. Lamar Advertising of Montgomery, Inc., in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Alabama. Represented owner of outdoor advertising signs in condemnation action.
