KIMBERLY T. POWELL is a Partner in the firm's Birmingham office. She has a general business litigation practice with a focus on representing special committees of board of directors and disputes involving intellectual property, as well as nationwide litigation management experience.
Business Litigation: representing accounting firms, special committees of board of directors, securities and insurance brokerage firms, financial institutions, and financial service companies, as well as individuals in a wide variety of disputes.
Complex Commercial Litigation: often involving multiple parties and complex claims, extensive experience representing foreign clients.
Intellectual Property: focus on trademark registrations and litigation; trade secret litigation; copyright counseling and litigation; technology.
Trademarks: registrations and litigation.
She is active in committees at the state and national level related to trademarks.
