Mike Freeman elected secretary-treasurer for The Birmingham Bar Association for the 2013 Bar year
Balch & Bingham LLP today announced that Mike Freeman, chair of the firm’s Environmental Litigation Practice Group, was elected secretary-treasurer for The Birmingham Bar Association for the 2013 Bar year.
Mike’s practice focuses on environmental, business and energy litigation. He is a frequent speaker, teacher and author on litigation topics and has served for several years on the faculty of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Trial Academy and taught as a guest lecturer at local law schools. He speaks frequently at Continuing Legal Education Seminars and business meetings, and has authored many articles on environmental and business litigation topics. He is the immediate past chair of the American Bar Association's Committee on Environmental Litigation and Toxic Torts.
The Birmingham Bar Association is one of the oldest local bar associations in the United States, and the largest in Alabama, with more than 4,100 members in the greater Birmingham metropolitan area.
