NATALIE M. CHRISTENSEN BEASMAN is an Associate in the Atlanta office. As a member of Balch & Bingham’s Litigation Section, Natalie represents investor owned and private corporations, public utilities, electric cooperatives, homeowners’ associations, and individuals in Georgia and throughout the nation. Natalie’s practice consists of trial and appellate matters, including real estate and construction litigation, casualty and products liability litigation, joint use matters, and intellectual property disputes.

Creditors Rights

Natalie has developed expertise in representing national and community banks in special asset matters, including suits on notes and guarantees, foreclosures, fraudulent conveyance and related commercial litigation and contact disputes. Natalie also represents lenders and loan servicing companies in wrongful foreclosure actions and other civil litigation.

Energy Litigation

As a member of the firm’s Energy Litigation Practice Group, Natalie has successfully represented numerous investor-owned utilities and electric cooperatives in actions before United States Federal District Courts and state trial courts. This representation includes contact cases, nuisance and land use disputes, and class action litigation.

Joint Use & Pole Attachments

Natalie represents electric cooperatives in joint use and pole attachment matters, including contract negotiations and contract disputes and litigation.

Product Liability and Casualty Litigation

As a member of the firm’s Product Liability and Casualty Practice Group, Natalie has representing woodworking machinery manufacturers, distributors and dealers in product liability litigation throughout the United States. Natalie has also represented the manufacturers of power line insulators, vehicles, shipping containers, and other chemical and industrial manufactures. Additionally, Natalie has extensive experience litigating high stakes property damage disputes.

Real Estate Litigation

Natalie’s real estate work focuses on land use disputes, construction litigation, and homeowners’ association matters. In 2009, Natalie won a Georgia Court of Appeals reversal of a jury verdict in which the Court clarified law on fraud and constructive trusts in Georgia. Natalie has also been involved in numerous construction defect matters on behalf of homeowners’ associations against general contractors, developers, and engineers.

While attending law school, Natalie worked as a legal intern for Justice Hugh P. Thompson, of the Georgia Supreme Court.

Natalie is a board member of First Tee of Atlanta and volunteers as a First Tee golf and life skills coachworking with girls and boys aged 7 to 17. Natalie is also active in the Princeton Club of Georgia.
