Balch & Bingham LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has again been honored by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers in the 2015 edition of “Best Law Firms” as one of the leading law firms in the country, recognizing the firm for its professional excellence and consistently impressive ratings from clients and peers.

For the fifth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers, the most highly respected peer review guide in the legal community, partnered to rank more than 10,000 law firms in 74 national practice areas and 120 metropolitan areas. Rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys in their field and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. Clients and peers were asked to evaluate firms based on the following criteria: responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, integrity and civility, as well as whether the respondent would refer a matter to the firm or consider the firm a worthy competitor.

Balch received national tier rankings in Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Defendants, Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law, Energy Law, Environmental Law and Insurance Law. Additionally, Balch received 78 metropolitan tier across practice areas in each of its offices.
