Brandon N. Robinson, partner and member of the firm’s Privacy & Data Security Practice Group, was quoted in a Corporate Counsel article on May 6, 2015, regarding the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) releasing a document outlining suggestions for victim response and reporting of cybersecurity breaches. Mr. Robinson spoke on the general themes seen in the DOJ’s cybersecurity recommendations and emphasized the importance of having a response plan in place while also maintaining key relationships, such as with law enforcement agencies, before a data breach occurs.
