Tashwanda Pinchback Dixon, associate in the firm’s Atlanta office and member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group, was quoted by Human Resource Executive Daily on August 26, 2015, regarding pre-employment assessments. Ms. Pinchback Dixon advised on the possible implications that Target Corp.’s recent $2.8 million payout to settle a hiring discrimination claim could have on employment assessments in the future. She also spoke on the importance of employers analyzing the information gathered from assessments to ensure there is a clear link to business necessity, especially for tests that seek medical information, as well as the need to ensure that there is not an adverse impact on any protected classes, including race, gender and individuals with disabilities.
