Margaret Caravelli, partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office and member of the Energy Section and the Environmental & Natural Resources Section, was quoted by Law 360 on Oct. 1, 2015, regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s stricter ozone rule. The new set of rules, which lowers the National Ambient Air Quality Standard for ozone from 75 parts per billion to 70 ppb, poses additional compliance challenges for businesses. Ms. Caravelli discussed the economic impact this ruling will have on businesses, states and localities, as well as compliance issues these entities will now face.
