Marcus Chatterton, Adam Israel, and Will Hill Tankersley Jr. Spoke at Alabama Law Weekly’s 2016 Alabama Business Law Conference

Marcus Chatterton, attorney in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, Adam Israel, attorney in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, and Will Hill Tankersley Jr., partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, spoke at Alabama Law Weekly’s 2016 Alabama Business Law Conference in Birmingham on October 28, 2016. 

Adam and Will Hill spoke on the new Alabama Restrictive Covenants Act, which affects non-compete agreements and took effect on January 1, 2016. Adam and Will Hill played leading roles in the act’s drafting and passage. Marcus spoke on the new federal Defend Trade Secrets Act that took effect on May 11, 2016, providing trade secret owners with more options for protecting intellectual property.
