About Max
With a thorough and tactical approach to litigation, Max represents Balch’s clients with a deep understanding of the importance of communication, efficiency, and results.
Q&A
  • What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?

After graduating from law school, I practiced law with a large, general practice firm in Boston, Mass. I was a member of several litigation teams, which achieved excellent results for the firm's clients, including a team that won an $8.5M judgment for a local business that had been debilitated by the "Big Dig" infrastructure project.

  • What do you see on the horizon in your area of practice?

An insatiable emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness through technology in litigation. For example, discovery in a case can easily become the most expensive part of litigation, and it is more important than ever to employ cost-effective ways of minimizing discovery costs. In our practice, technology is central to the way we manage discovery for our clients, and law firms must continue innovating on this issue in order to best meet clients' needs.
