    I represent local and national companies in a variety of industries, from family-owned small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. I work particularly closely with lenders, loan servicers, electrical utilities, manufacturers, retailers, and insurance providers. I also represent state agencies, municipalities, and educational institutions in a range of administrative and litigated matters.

  • Mortgage servicing: Obtained summary judgment on behalf of loan servicer against claims that the loan servicer had misapplied payments and wrongfully foreclosed. (2015)
  • Employment law: Obtained dismissal on behalf of employer bank against claims by former employee of racial discrimination and wrongful termination. (2016)
  • 42 U.S.C. § 1981: Obtained dismissal of electrical utility against former employee's claim of race discrimination and retaliation. (2015)
  • Products liability: Obtained dismissal on behalf of manufacturer on claims of defective design and manufacture of industrial machine. (2016)
  • Trademark infringement: Represented clients in more than a dozen disputes over alleged trademark violations. Advised clients on ensuring compliance with existing trademarks and protecting registered trademarks from infringement.
  • Pro bono: Represented local residents and businesses in administrative proceedings and landlord-tenant, contested will, and property disputes.
  • Wrongful termination: Obtained favorable settlement following submission of summary judgment briefing to claim against state university alleging race discrimination and constructive discharge. (2015)
  • Contract dispute: Negotiated favorable settlement of action arising out of claim for breach of contract arising out of construction contract. (2015)
  • Jury trial: Prosecuted DUI charge to jury on appeal from municipal court, resulting in 30-minute jury deliberation and conviction. (2015)
