Q&A
  • What types of clients do you represent?

I represent a broad range of clients from large corporations to individuals.  Throughout my practice, I have worked on all sides of real estate, however, more of my work has been for clients acquiring property or leasing space or property. In addition, I spend time counseling clients on land right disputes and title curative work. My clients include utilities, manufacturers, developers, investors, retailers, banks, finance companies, title insurers, and management companies.

  • What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?

I worked in banking for a number of years, so I came into the practice of law with experience from the client’s perspective. In this role, I worked in the areas of branch banking, investment services, correspondent banking, and commercial lending. I am also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. These experiences have helped me understand the client’s perspective and relate to their needs.
