Balch & Bingham's Telecommunications Practice Group handles an array of issues involving wireline and wireless carriers. Our work includes financing, contract negotiation, regulatory representation at the FCC and state levels, litigation, and insolvency. Our attorneys frequently advise clients on regulatory and taxing authority issues, and they represent carriers in the litigation and arbitration of disputes. The group's attorneys also have extensive experience in litigating "pole attachment" issues on behalf of several investor owned electric utilities and electric cooperatives. They also litigate and arbitrate disputes with suppliers, carriers, and subscribers on behalf of telecommunications carriers. The firm's ongoing clients include interchange carriers, Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLEC's), and carriers' carriers in all aspects of their legal requirements from the regulatory arena, to state governmental affairs, to litigated matters.
