TRIPP HEAD practices in the Firm's Environmental and Natural Resources section. His practice covers a wide variety of environmental, administrative, and regulatory issues including litigating cases under federal and state environmental statutes and representing clients before federal and state environmental agencies. Mr. Head counsels and represents clients on various permitting and compliance issues under the federal Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Toxic Substances Control Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), as well as the state law counterparts of those laws. He also counsels clients regarding water withdrawal and water rights issues arising under the Alabama Water Resources Act. Mr. Head is also frequently involved in drafting and commenting on proposed federal and state environmental regulations and legislation on behalf of the firm's clients. Mr. Head has represented clients before the Environmental Protection Agency in enforcement actions involving PCB management and disposal; before the Alabama Department of Environmental Management on Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act permitting matters and enforcement actions; and before the Alabama Office of Water Resources on water withdrawal and water rights matters.

App. 2006) - Represented business associations as amici curiae in an appeal involving the interpretation of public participation provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act.
