Selected Comments on FERC’s Proposed Clarification of Mandatory Reliability Standards for Critical Infrastructure Protection

On November 3, 2008 in Docket No. RM06-22-000, comments were submitted on FERC’s Order on Proposed Clarification of Mandatory Reliability Standards for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) that was issued on September 18, 2008.  The Commission's order proposed to clarify the scope of eight CIP standards approved in Order No. 706 in order to assure that these standards are applied to certain nuclear plant equipment and functions which are not regulated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).  Below are the comments of a few selected parties.
