NERC Supplements Informational Compliance Filing Regarding Definition of “Bulk Electric System”

On March 6, 2009, NERC submitted supplemental information regarding the definition of “bulk electric system” for two Regional Entities – ReliabilityFirst and WECC.  The information contained in NERC’s submittal supplements the information previously submitted by NERC on June 14, 2007 in response to paragraph 77 of Order No. 693 that required NERC to submit a “complete set of regional definitions of bulk electric system and any regional documents that identify critical facilities to which the Reliability Standards apply (i.e., facilities below a 100kV threshold that have been identified by the regions as critical to system reliability).”  To view NERC’s supplemental informational filing for ReliabilityFirst and WECC, click here.
