House holds Hearing on Electric Grid Cyber-Security Protection

On October 27, 2009, the House Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment conducted a hearing on "Protecting the Electric Grid:  H.R. 2165, the Bulk Power System Protection Act of 2009, and H.R. 2195, a bill to amend the Federal Power Act to provide additional authorities to adequately protect the critical electric infrastructure against cyber attack.”  The hearing examined pending bills to address the protection of the electric grid from cyber and other malicious attacks.  Links to all of the prepared testimony presented at the hearing are below.
