NERC Moves to Intervene in Petitions of NPPD and SPP Regional Entity for FERC Review of NERC’s Denial of Request to Amend Delegation Agreements and to Transfer Registration

On April 21, 2011, in Docket No. RR11-1, NERC filed a motion to intervene and respond to the petitions to FERC by Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) and the Southwest Power Pool Regional Entity (SPP RE) to Review NERC’s Denial of NPPD’s March 18, 2011 request to amend two delegation agreements and to transfer NPPD’s registration from the Midwest Reliability Organization (“MRO”) to the SPP RE.  SPP RE also filed a March 31, 2011 motion requesting FERC review of NERC’s decision not to approve a requested transfer of the registration of NPPD, OPPD, Hastings, and Grand Island from MRO to SPP RE.  NERC’s motion responds to these requests and also asks that the two petitions be consolidated.  To view NERC’s Motion, click here.
