House Committee on Energy and Commerce Holds Hearing on Smart Grid and Cybersecurity

On February 28, 2012, the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations today held its second hearing examining current cyber threats and vulnerabilities to our nation’s infrastructure. This hearing, entitled “Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity: Assessments of Smart Grid Security” assessed cybersecurity threats to our nation's electric infrastructure and weaknesses that make our grid vulnerable to attacks.
