On July 18, 2013 in Docket No. RM13-13, FERC issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) proposing to approve Reliability Standard BAL-002-WECC-2 (Contingency Reserve). On April 12, 2013, NERC and WECC filed a joint petition for approval of the WECC Regional Reliability Standard.
