FERC Issues Order Approving Revisions to the NERC ROP Appendix 4D and Appendix 2

On September 3, 2013 in Docket No. RR13-3 FERC issued an order approving NERC’s April 8, 2013 revisions to two sections of its Rules of Procedure: Appendix 4D (Procedure for Requesting and Receiving Technical Feasibility Exceptions (“TFE”) to NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standards) and Appendix 2 (Definitions Used in the Rules of Procedure). In addition, NERC is directed to submit a compliance filing within 90 days revising Appendix 4D to specify a time frame for reporting material changes to TFEs and include additional information in its TFE annual report.
