NERC Submits Supplemental Informational Filing to Petition for Approval of Proposed Reliability Standard PRC-025-1

On December 17, 2013, in Docket No. RM13-19, NERC submitted a supplemental informational filing to its petition for approval of Reliability Standard PRC-025-1 – Generator Relay Loadability.  In the previously filed September 30, 2013 PRC-025-1 petition, NERC requested that FERC delay its approval of proposed Reliability Standard PRC-025-1 until proposed Reliability Standard PRC-023-3 – Transmission Relay Loadability was submitted in a supplemental filing to the Commission.  Proposed PRC-023-3 was approved by the NERC Board of Trustees at its November 7, 2013 meeting and is submitted by NERC as a supplement to the pending petition for approval of proposed Reliability Standard PRC-025-1.  The supplement presents the technical basis and purpose of proposed Reliability Standard PRC-02302, a summary of the development history, and a demonstration that the proposed Reliability Standard meets the criteria identified by FERC.
