NERC Submits Motion for Leave to Answer and Answer to EEI Protest and Comments

On January 24, 2014, in Dockets EL13-52, RR13-10, and RR13-12, NERC submitted a motion for leave to answer and answer to the protest and comments of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI). EEI’s protest and comments are in response to a December 6, 2013 FERC Order related to the Western Electricity Coordinating Council's (WECC's) proposal to establish an independent Reliability Coordinator (RC) for the Western Interconnection, known as Peak Reliability, that would be funded under section 215 of the Federal Power Act.
