NERC Files Supplemental Information to Petition for Approval of BAL-001-2

On May 9, 2014, in Docket No. RM14-10, NERC submitted supplemental information to its April 2, 2014 petition for FERC’s approval of proposed Reliability Standard BAL-001-2 (Real Power Balancing Control Performance) and associated definitions (“Regulation Reserve Sharing Group,” “Reserve Sharing Group ACE,” and “Interconnection”).  NERC provided the supplemental information to address the status of a FERC directive in Order No. 693 and to update FERC regarding the status of a field trial for proposed Reliability Standard BAL-001-2.
