On September 18, 2014, in Docket No. RM14-12, FERC issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) proposing to approve Reliability Standard MOD-031-1 (Data and Energy Data). Reliability Standard MOD-031-1 provides authority for applicable entities to collect demand, energy and related data to support reliability studies and assessments and to enumerate the responsibilities and obligations of requestors and respondents of that data.
