The NRC has issued for public comment a draft regulatory issue summary (RIS) to clarify the reporting requirements for certain exports of nuclear facilities, equipment and non-nuclear materials. This RIS is intended for all licensees required to report exports of nuclear facilities, equipment and non-nuclear material pursuant to 10 C.F.R. Part 110. The RIS clarifies that licensees subject to Part 110 reporting requirements must submit quarterly reports by January 15, April 15, July 15 and October 15 of each year. Additionally, the draft RIS clarifies that the quarterly reporting requirement is in addition to, and not obviated by, the separate NRC annual reporting requirement in Part 110. The Commission has requested all comments by August 7, 2018.To view the Federal Register notice, click here.
