Balch & Bingham Welcomes Seven New Associates

Balch & Bingham LLP is pleased to welcome seven new associates to the firm, expanding the Birmingham, Ala. and Gulfport, Miss., offices. The new associates will bolster the Business, Environmental, Litigation and Financial Industries sections of the firm.

BIRMINGHAM


Julia Barber is a member of the Environmental Section. Prior to joining Balch, Ms. Barber clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Robert S. Ballou of the Western District of Virginia. She received her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Carolina. 

Katie Clements is a member of the Litigation Section. Ms. Clements received her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, Masters of Accountancy from Auburn University and her Bachelor of Science in business administration from Auburn University. 

Jeremiah M. Glassford is a member of the Litigation Section. Mr. Glassford received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Jonathan P. Hoffmann is a member of the Financial Industries Section. Mr. Hoffmann received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and Bachelor of Arts from Emory University. 

Alan Lovett is a member of the Energy Section. Prior to joining Balch, Mr. Lovett clerked for the Honorable Judge Gerald B. Tjoflat of the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. He received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University. 

Brandi Powe is a member of the Business Section. Ms. Powe received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from the University of Alabama.

Katie Hood is a member of the Litigation Section. Ms. Hood received her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Mississippi.
