Jeff Starling, partner in the firm’s Birmingham, Ala., office and chair of the Labor & Employment Practice Group, was featured in a Q&A with Bloomberg BNA’s “Labor and Employment Blog,” entitled “Job Applicant Screening: Is Social Media Fair Game?” Mr. Starling advised on the legal risks associated with using social media websites to screen job applicants as well as legislation governing employers’ social media usage. He also commented on recent court decisions affecting employer access to social media.
