Balch & Bingham LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three litigators who have joined the firm’s Jackson, Miss., office as partners in the firm’s Product Liability & Casualty Practice Group and Labor & Employment Section. Jennifer Jones Skipper, Colleen S. Welch and Christy Crockett White collectively bring more than 45 years of litigation experience to the firm.

Jennifer Jones Skipper joins Balch as a partner in the firm’s Product Liability & Casualty Practice Group. She has extensive litigation experience in product liability, toxic and environmental torts, wrongful death and negligence cases. In addition to silica litigation, she has defended construction defect cases, premises liability cases, asbestos exposure and gas explosions. Ms. Skipper earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and her B.A. from Millsaps College.
Colleen S. Welch joins Balch as a partner in the firm’s Product Liability & Casualty Practice Group. Her litigation background includes mass tort litigation, pharmaceutical litigation, product liability, toxic tort and negligence. Over the past decade, she has successfully litigated thousands of silica claims for numerous defendants. Ms. Welch earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
Christy Crockett White joins Balch as partner in the firm’s Product Liability & Casualty Practice Group and Labor & Employment Section. She has more than twenty years of experience as a trial lawyer in cases ranging from complex product liability actions to multi-million dollar business disputes. She practices primarily in the areas of product liability, toxic torts, and labor and employment law, and has defended thousands of silica cases across the South. In 2008, she was on the team that tried the first silica case in Mississippi history. Ms. White earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. She received her M. Ed. and her B.A. from the University of Mississippi.
