Balch & Bingham LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys to the firm’s Atlanta office as partners in the firm’s Litigation Section and Product Liability & Casualty Practice Group. Hugh B. McNatt and Hugh Peterson III have decades of experience in personal injury, banking and business litigation.

Hugh B. McNatt, partner in the firm’s Litigation Section, has tried more than 350 jury trials across the Southeast, primarily representing defendants in personal injury lawsuits. Mr. McNatt concentrates his practice on trucking litigation, products litigation, electrical utility litigation and aircraft litigation. He is a fellow in the College of American Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers, as well as a member and past president of the Georgia chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. McNatt earned his J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Mercer University.
Hugh Peterson III, partner in the firm’s Litigation Section, specializes in litigation relating to personal injury, banking and business issues, and has represented numerous clients in both state and federal courts. Mr. Peterson regularly defends cases on behalf of businesses and community banks, in addition to defense of personal injury, property damage and wrongful death cases. He is a member of the Georgia Bankers Association and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Peterson earned his J.D. from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.
