Balch & Bingham’s Greg Cook Recognized as BTI Client Service All-Star 2017
Balch & Bingham LLP congratulates Greg Cook, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and chair of the Financial Services Litigation Practice, on his recognition as a BTI Client Service All-Star 2017, the only independently researched, client-driven ranking of attorneys. Greg was one of 300 attorneys recognized nationally for providing superior client service, and one of two attorneys recognized in Alabama.
BTI Consulting Group, Inc., interviewed more than 300 corporate counsel to single out attorneys who exceed all others in six specific client service categories. According to BTI, Client Service All-Stars excel in the following categories: superior client focus; exceptional understanding of the client’s business; legal skills; efficient, value-added service; innovative thought leadership; and outstanding results. These attorneys are recognized for their proactive approach in building client relationships and taking time to understand their client in depth – their business, their objectives and their goals.
Greg focuses his practice on financial services litigation, including complex commercial litigation and class actions. His work with financial institutions ranges from class actions to routine banking litigation. Over the past 25 years, he has defended over 60 class actions, handled over 250 real estate and mortgage matters, and is a part of over 40 reported opinions. In addition, Greg is editor of Balch’s Southeast Financial Litigation Monitor blog, which reports on legal developments affecting the financial services industry.
