Rodger Wilder, counsel in the firm’s Gulfport office and member of the Corporate Practice, was recognized by the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project (MVLP) for his personal commitment to pro-bono work and efforts to increase access to quality legal services. On September 14, 2017, Rodger received the Curtis E. Coker Access to Justice Award at the MVLP Pro Bono Awards Dinner in Jackson, Mississippi. The Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project was formed by the Mississippi Bar to provide pro bono legal services to low-income Mississippians. Balch is proud to support the MVLP and commends many of our Gulfport and Jackson attorneys who contribute their time to the organization. Walter Boone, partner in the firm’s Jackson office and member of the Litigation Practice, also serves the MVLP as a member of the organization’s board of directors.
