Alex Khoury Authored Article for Mercer University Law Review Regarding E-Discovery

Alex Khoury, partner in the firm’s Atlanta office and chair of the Electronic Discovery and Data Management Group, authored an article in Mercer University Law Review’s 2016 Eleventh Circuit Survey. In the article, titled “Electronic Discovery,” Alex analyzed key decisions by courts in the Eleventh Circuit interpreting the new e-discovery provisions in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and commented on important developments in the areas of cooperation, scope of discovery, form of production, cost shifting, and spoliation. He discussed several decisions applying the new sanctions paradigm in FRCP 37(e) and what those decisions mean for future litigants in the Eleventh Circuit.
