Will Hill Tankersley Named Veteran of Influence by Birmingham Business Journal

Will Hill Tankersley, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and chair of the Intellectual Property and Fair Competition Practice, was named a Veteran of Influence by the Birmingham Business Journal. The annual recognition highlights servicemen and women who are active members of the Birmingham business community. The Veterans of Influence honorees were recognized at a breakfast on October 19, 2017, and featured in the publication’s October 20, 2017, edition.

Will Hill served in the U.S. Army for 11 years (1979-1991) (four years active duty, seven years National Guard and Reserve), during which time he achieved the rank of Major. During his time in service he served as an Infantry Platoon Leader in the 24th Infantry Division (then part of the nation’s Rapid Deployment Force), then as a Special Forces mountain warfare “A” Team member in Germany, and also he took a tank Company of Alabama National Guardsmen to desert warfare training in the Mojave desert.
