Greg Cook and Will Hill Tankersley Authored Article for the Alabama Municipal Journal Regarding Municipal Courts

Greg Cook, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice and Will Hill Tankersley, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, authored an article in the September/October issue of the Alabama Municipal Journal published by the Alabama League of Municipalities, an organization that is committed to strengthening municipal government through advocacy, training and the advancement of effective local leadership. The article, “Judging Locally: A Right Worth Protecting “ highlights municipal courts as the most citizen-facing courts in Alabama  and outlines certain key steps municipal courts should consider in order to ensure that the courts are complying with their constitutional requirements. Greg and Will Hill regularly defend multiple Alabama city courts and court personnel against class action litigation asserting alleged Constitutional violations.
