Dorman Walker and Kelly Pate Authored Article for SHRM Blog Regarding #MeToo Movement and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

Dorman Walker and Kelly Pate, both partners in the firm’s Montgomery office and members of the Labor & Employment Practice, authored an article for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Blog regarding the #MeToo movement and sexual harassment within the workplace. The article looked at how incidents of sexual harassment commonly go unreported within the workplace, and how the #MeToo movement is evidence that many employees want to talk about and address issues they encounter. Dorman and Kelly shared best practices for how managers should approach employees’ #MeToo social media posts, as well as how management can best show its commitment to achieving a workplace free of sexual harassment.
