Balch & Bingham Welcomes Estate Planning Attorney April Wise
Balch & Bingham LLP is pleased to welcome estate planning attorney April D. Wise as a partner in its Montgomery, Alabama office and member of the Estate Planning & Trusts Practice. April brings more than a decade of experience in estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration and litigation, and special needs planning and settlement planning.
April regularly represents trustees, executors, and other fiduciaries, beneficiaries, professionals, and families with special needs individuals. She also handles other probate court matters, including guardianships, conservatorships, and adoptions. She has experience preparing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorneys, and advance directives. In addition, she advises personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiaries through probate administrations or trust administrations, including will contests or other estate or trust litigation.
April is actively involved in the Montgomery Capital Rotary Club and currently serves as a board member for the Saint James School Board of Trustees, the Central Alabama Community Foundation, and the Montgomery Estate Planning Council. She earned her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law and B.S. from Auburn University.
