Margaret Caravelli, partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and member of the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice, will present at the Alabama State Bar’s 27th Annual Southeastern Environmental Law & Regulation Conference on June 15, 2018 in Destin, Florida. Margaret will discuss updates to federal regulations related to environmental and natural resources law.
Margaret provides counsel to petroleum refiners and electric utilities on legislative and regulatory initiatives involving the Clean Air Act (CAA). She interacts regularly with the U.S. Congress and federal agencies and departments including the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy on matters involving petroleum refining, transportation fuels, and electricity generation. With more than 16 years of federal policy experience, Margaret participated in the drafting and negotiation of some of the most comprehensive energy and transportation legislation that has been enacted in the last decade.
The conference is sponsored by the Environmental Law Section of the Alabama State Bar and the Section on Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law of The Mississippi Bar.
