Marcus Chatterton Presented on Social Media Pitfalls to Alabama League of Municipalities

Marcus Chatterton, partner in the firm's Birmingham office and member of the Litigation Practice, presented on social media pitfalls at the Alabama League of Municipalities Annual Convention on May 21, 2018, in Montgomery, Alabama. Marcus discussed legalities concerning reputation management, information security, and right of publicity specifically as it relates to social media. He also participated in a panel comprised of elected officials and municipal leaders across the state of Alabama. 

Marcus focuses his litigation practice on tech-related matters including social media, intellectual property, and electronic data and technology issues. He works closely with his clients to advise on strategies that best handle emerging technologies in a manner that benefits the entity while minimizing legal risk.
