Balch & Bingham’s Greg Cook Named Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s Professional Development Committee.

The Professional Development Committee connects the ABA’s network of attorneys to educational resources that provide learning and professional development opportunities within the legal profession. The committee is reflective of the ABA’s commitment to remaining the nation’s premiere legal association that supports the continuous pursuit of legal knowledge through each stage of an attorney’s career.

Previously, Greg served as co-chair of the ABA’s Class Action & Derivative Suits Committee and is the immediate past chair of the Alabama State Bar’s Business Torts and Antitrust Section. 

Greg’s practice focuses on financial services and commercial litigation and has handled more than 60 class actions.  He has been named a BTI Client Service All-Star and is a life fellow of the ABA. He is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Benchmark Litigation for his financial litigation practice. Greg serves as co-author of the Southeast Financial Litigation Monitor, a blog that serves as a resource on notable court decisions, legislation, and administrative rule-makings that affect the financial industry in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi.
