Balch & Bingham Welcomes Back Irving W. Jones Jr. to Expand Litigation and Commercial and Class Action Practices

Balch & Bingham is pleased to welcome Irving W. Jones Jr. as he returns to the firm’s Birmingham office as an attorney in the Litigation and Commercial and Class Action Practices. Irving represents corporations and utilities across the Southeast in commercial litigation and environmental matters in state and federal courts. He routinely advises clients on matters arising from Clean Air Act enforcement, Clean Water Act citizen suits and toxic tort litigation.

Irving earned his J.D. from The University of Mississippi School of Law, his M.S. in criminology from The University of Baltimore and his B.S. in sociology from Bowie State University. Prior to law school, Irving served as a counterintelligence agent with the National Security Agency.  Irving is admitted to practice in Alabama and Mississippi. 

Irving is recognized as a Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Star and a Birmingham Business Journal Rising Star of Law.  He serves as a mentor to rising law students to help encourage the next generation of lawyers and professionals to achieve their potential.
