John Smith Appointed to Supreme Court of Alabama Advisory Committee on Rules of Evidence
John Smith, partner in the firm’s Montgomery office and member of the Litigation Practice, has been appointed to serve a three-year term as a member of the Supreme Court of Alabama Advisory Committee on the Alabama Rules of Evidence. The committee proposes amendments to the Supreme Court of Alabama for adoption of new rules and advises the Court on changes to the existing Alabama Rules of Evidence.
John has more than 25 years of experience representing a wide range of clients, involving personal injury defense, business disputes, insurance, contract, employment, fraud, financial transactions, worker’s compensation, municipal law, and related matters. He regularly tries both jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts across Alabama. John is recognized by Best Lawyers in America, and is an active member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Alabama Association of Municipal Attorneys.
