Phil Nichols Shares Perspectives on Infrastructure, Tariffs and Job Growth at Birmingham Business Journal’s 2019 Economic Forecast

Phil Nichols, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Corporate Practice, served as a panelist for the Birmingham Business Journal’s annual Economic Forecast on November 8, 2018. Phil joined business leaders and economists to discuss topics including infrastructure, regulations, tariffs and job growth. 

Phil discussed the importance of sustainability in maintaining economic growth, including tariffs affecting industry growth and political impacts on federal deregulation. At the state level, Phil discussed the impact of the potential changes to the Alabama gas tax on infrastructure.
