Austin Alexander Elected to the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia’s Board of Directors

Austin Alexander, attorney in the firm’s Atlanta office and member of our Banking & Financial Services Practice, was recently elected to the Stonewall Bar Associations of Georgia’s Board of Directors. Austin will serve as a two-term member beginning in 2020 and running through 2022. The Stonewall Bar Association, founded in 1995, is a nonprofit business league which promotes and supports the interests of LGBT legal professionals. The organization works to develop an alliance of legal professionals in an effort to oppose discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

At Balch, Austin’s practice focuses on creditor's rights and bankruptcy. He represents banks and other lending institutions, in addition to general creditors. Prior to joining the firm, Austin clerked for United States District Judge David C. Bramlette and United States Bankruptcy Judge Katharine M. Samson. This experience, working in the federal courts, brings immense value to Austin’s legal work and positively benefits his clients.
